The fare on the individual sections is 3\u20ac for adults and 1,50\u20ac for children between the ages of 6 \u2013 15. Seniors and children under 6 travel for free. All stops are request stops.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>A\u00a0bit of the Tatra Kometa history:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kometa was made for the use of the Tatra railways in the Ganz factory in Budapest in 1912 and it was equipped with the motors provided by a\u00a0Bratislava company Siemens \u2013 Schuckert. In this year the Tatra railway experienced significant changes whereby the railway was extended as far as Strbske pleso. Thanks to its reliable motor and good driving characteristics , it was used for removing snow from the tracks. This is how the tram got its name \u2013 the snow ploughed to the side left a\u00a0snow tail behind the tram. The tram finished its service in 1977 and this elegant old lady was supposed to be given for scrap. At that time the current chair of the Veteran railway club Poprad took care of it. After some necessary repairs it was used as an attraction during special occasion rides. The career of Kometa ended for good in 2011 when it was hit by lightning, as a\u00a0result of which it was stationed in depo in Poprad. After a\u00a0nationwide appeal didn\u2019t raise enough money for its repair, Jaroslav Vanco and Jan Sabaka form the Veteran railway club Poprad asked the company Siemens for help. Siemens promised the financ to begin its necessary repairs.
